Winner of the Golden Eye award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival as best documentary, “Cinema Novo” follows an interpretive and reflective line, and intends, from the collection of images produced by Cinema Novo and testimonies about the movement, to show its history and influence in Brazil nowadays.

The feature film is a co-production of Coqueirão Pictures and Aruac Produções, from the director Eryk Rocha.
